The morning was yet to come, the air was cold, and the Scoobys were chomping at the bit. The roads were epic.
All in all my first SOCSA breakfast run was AWESOME, not something I’m going to forget for quite some time! cannot wait until the next one!! 😀
I’m not entirely sure where we started, what our route was or where we got to xD (I believe it was tableview.. ) but I just followed the leader and took the journey one corner at a time!
A few weeks ago while out getting milk or something.. I met a guy by the name of Ivo, in a petrol station, with one of the sickest looking and sounding bug eye STI Scoobys I’v ever seen! After a bit of a chat, he took my number and promised to let me know about any SOCSA – (Subaru Owners Club South Africa) meets. Shortly afterwards he let me know of an upcoming SOCSA Dyno Day. Two weekends ago the day finally arrived, I pulled myself out of bed criminally early on a Saturday, picked up a friend from university and drove the 40 odd km in search of the elusive dyno! 😀 Thanks to the trusty Garmin we found it with little effort, and were soon confronted with the rawkus growls of many Scoobys in the wild 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 (<< yes, that was my face the entire day! xD) (more…)
